The staff were attentive and excellent in case of questions. The rooms were brand-new and extremely pleasant, unbeatable location. The bed was comfortable, and it was convenient to have a microwave oven, coffee/tea makers, and a refrigerator.
The breakfast itself was usual, can be better.

The location of the hotel was marvellous - relatively close to La Villita Historic Arts Village. Further, it was so close to riverwalk and San Antonio and the Alamo.

Hotel was dirty. Mattress left in hallway of second floor. The walls to the hotel must be very thin because You could hear other guest in other rooms. The pillows were flat and cheap.

The friendly staff, the room was clean and the bed was awesome. The daily hot breakfast was always fresh, delicious and plentiful. The kitchen staff kept the area clean and replenished.
We recommend a security person by the main entrance. There were some panhandlers.

Room was not as described in website. Front desk said they would upgrade for a fee or I could call Booked.net. I had to wait online for 40 minutes before I was helped. I was told pay the extra fee and Booked.net would see about getting me a refund. I said that was unacceptable and they needed to get it corrected with the hotel. I felt that this was not the first time this had happened. The front desk person was pissed off that we did not have to pay more. The entire experience was very poor.

The location is super close to the Alamo, and the newly refurbished rooms are a major plus! Loved having fenced parking for peace of mind. The breakfast area had this cool rotation so you're never eating the same thing.

The room was nice and cold when we arrived, perfect for the summer heat. The bed was comfortable too, as well as the pillows. It was tidy and seemed very clean. Very good location, easy to reach the Rivercenter mall and the Riverwalk.
The clock was an hour off and some of the towels had make up stains from previous guests. Bleaching them longer would clear that right up, but it made me worry all the towels weren't washed very well. You had get up early for breakfast. There was a lot of guests in the hotel, so breakfast ran out pretty fast.
